Overview
Our client’s Defence business is scaling its digital services footprint and requires a senior pre‑sales technologist with genuine defence domain experience. You’ll partner with the BD lead, shape mission‑aligned solutions, and drive services‑led growth across secure IT, cyber, data and digital transformation programmes.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with Defence Digital, DE&S, MOD and StratCom, and industry primes where partnering on projects
- Run technical discovery, problem framing, and service design workshops
- Shape solutions across a range of services, including:
- Secure networks & hosting
- Digital workplace
- Data / AI / analytics
- Cyber security & resilience
- Managed services & ITSM/SIAM models
Essential Experience
- Deep defence domain exposure (Defence Digital, DE&S, STRATCOM, etc.)
- SC clearance (DV desirable)
- Strong pre‑sales capability: discovery, shaping, solution definition
- Broad secure IT understanding: networking, cloud, hosting, cyber, data, enterprise services
- Experience and networks within SIs/defence integrators (e.g. DXC, Leidos, Sopra, CGI, BAE, Atos etc.)
Nice to Have
- Military background + commercial experience
- Exposure to cyber operations / defensive cyber
