Frontier Resourcing are supporting a global aerospace and defence organisation in the search for an experienced Electronics Test Technician to join their team near Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly advanced manufacturing and engineering environment, supporting the testing, diagnostics, and repair of complex electronic systems used in cutting-edge aerospace applications.
Working on a rotating shift basis, you will be responsible for the functional testing, tuning, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic assemblies and products, while supporting continuous improvement across the test environment.
The Role
- Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies to contractual, quality, and schedule requirements
- Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding to component level on production and repair units
- Recommend and support corrective actions on failed products
- Diagnose faults associated with automated and manual test equipment
