Business Intelligence Analyst (DV Cleared) - Defence

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, report generation, and dashboard design to work with our client in the defence sector. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or a related field and will play a key role in providing actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for analysing organisational data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions that drive performance improvements.

DV Clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide stakeholders with clear insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall organizational performance.
2. Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, offering actionable insights that support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
3. Use analytical tools and techniques to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities for process improvements, helping the business become more efficient and effective.
4. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance business strategies, operational efficiencies, and overall performance.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, data scientists, and technical teams, to ensure the seamless integration of BI solutions into the organisation.
6. Utilise SQL and other data manipulation languages to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
7. Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to facilitate easy data interpretation and business insights.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
2. Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages (e.g., Python, R).
3. Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
4. Must hold DV Clearance to be considered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
