An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst with strong FP&A experience to join a leading organisation operating within the Defence and Technology sector. Working within a high performing FP&A team, you'll gain exposure across the wider business, partnering with Finance teams and senior stakeholders to deliver forecasting, planning, reporting and insightful financial analysis that supports key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning activities.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packs.
  • Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support month-end reporting and business performance reviews.
  • Drive process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and senior stakeholders across the organisation.

About You

  • Previous experience in FP&A, financial analysis, forecasting or business partnering.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Cyber Security or other technical sectors.
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Experience with SAP, Cognos, BW or similar financial systems.
