We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead (Systems Engineering) to take ownership of the technical delivery of a flagship Royal Navy programme.

You'll lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver complex simulation solutions that directly support the future of UK Defence.

The Role As the Technical Lead, you'll act as the technical authority across a major defence programme, providing leadership throughout the full engineering lifecycle.

You'll work closely with customers, engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure complex technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Operating within a fast-paced and evolving environment, you'll play a key role in influencing technical direction, solving complex engineering challenges and supporting the delivery of mission-critical capability.

Key Responsibilities Lead the technical delivery of a complex Royal Navy simulation programme.

Act as the primary technical authority, providing leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Own technical decisions throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through integration, testing and acceptance.

Ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards and programme objectives.
