The role:
- Working on product performance and process
- Reporting and analysis tasks
- Tech support for customers
- Support innovation for engineering tasks
- Perform root cause and corrective action as required
- Support Manufacturing cells and engineering tasks as required
- Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), NPI and Manufacturing Process tasks.
Your Skills / Experience:
- Minimum HND or degree in a related subject e.g. STEM, Production or Manufacturing Engineering
- Proven experience working in mid-senior level role in manufacturing, with knowledge/experience of electronics Manufacturing
- Worked with/on electronics products down to component level
- Process improvement/efficiency/lean manufacturing
- Experience of process FMEA, Control Plan, Process flow development, review and risk mitigation processes
- Experience of various Manufacturing platforms
- Technical presentation and communication skills
- Ideally have worked for an Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence company.
Desirable:
- Manufacturing methodologies, such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
