This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a high-profile APNT (Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing) programme. This is not a pure Programme Manager role. We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background who can work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams while driving programme delivery, managing risks, coordinating activities and providing technical leadership.

What will set you apart in this role is proven experience and strong understanding of product development lifecycles in a high technology engineering sector. Due to the nature of work and projects, you will be required to undergo UK SC Security Clearance (existing SC desirable but not essential). To be eligible for security clearance, you will need to be a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years.

What you'll do:

  • Lead engineering delivery across a complex product development programme
  • Coordinate and drive multidisciplinary engineering activities
  • Support engineers in overcoming technical and programme challenges
  • Manage programme schedules, risks and reporting
  • Work closely with Design Authorities, Chief Engineers and Programme Leadership
  • Mentor technical leads and engineering teams
