We are looking to recruit Build Operatives to work on our Openreach contracts.
Location: North and East Yorkshire. Main Office: Driffield
Main Responsibilities:
- Installing Fibre Optic Cable: Work in the underground and overhead network.
- PON Building: Precision matters. You’ll adhere to Openreach standards like a pro.
- Equipment Installation: Think joint closures, CBTs (Connection Boxes), and other tech goodies. You’re setting the stage for our splicing wizards.
- Health & Safety: Complete daily risk assessments prior to any works commencing on site and ensure health & safety is always paramount and SLG / PPE is appropriate for each task.
- Data Collection: Grab your mobile and record job measures and photographic evidence.
- Fleetchecks: Always ensure your company vehicle is in top condition.
- Communication Skills: Whether chatting with colleagues or clients, your professionalism shines.
Essential Qualifications / Requirments:
- UK driving licence
- SA001
- SA002
- Previous knowledge of FTTP network build
Desirable Qualifications / Requirements:
- NRSWA Street works accreditation (Training can be provided)
- Openreach PIA accreditation (Training can be provided)
- MEWP accreditation (Training can be provided)
- Experience working with schematics and duct diagrams
- Confident working at heights and in the underground network
