We are keen to speak to Economists interested in joining our Competition practice. Our Competition team works closely with clients and legal counsel, providing a mix of strategic advice and technical support. We assist in pre-empting issues, producing and responding to technical analysis, preparing client submissions and expert reports, and giving oral evidence.

  • Accurately delivering work scoped by others using a range of techniques.
  • Engaging professionally with clients; actively listening and understanding their perspectives and needs.
  • Identifying how the relevant economic framework, as set out by project managers, will address the case.
  • Applying relevant core micro theory and empirical techniques across various Competition projects.
  • Delivering high-quality technical work by applying best practices.
  • Identifying key results from analysis that will prove or disprove key hypotheses.
  • Adapting written work to the target audience in style and level of information.
  • Supporting peers in preparing well-structured, clear, client deliverables.
