Renowned for its iconic creative management simulation games, Frontier captivates players worldwide with immersive and authentic game worlds. The modern studio is located in the vibrant technology hub of Cambridge (UK). The talented team at Frontier are dedicated to nurturing our existing portfolio and delivering our exciting future roadmap. This role is offered on a full in‑studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT’S THE ROLE? We are looking for talented Capture Artists to join our Creative Services team on a 9‑month fixed term contract. In this role, you will help create high quality, engaging video content that showcases Frontier’s current and future games, supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the success of our titles. This is a great opportunity to play a hands‑on part in bringing our games to life.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Capturing game footage in engine for videos and screenshots.
- Creating engaging video content for Frontier's current and upcoming games.
- Setting up scenes and camera paths to produce high quality capture.
- Gaining deep understanding of game content and systems.
- Working with senior members of the team to produce trailers and other marketing assets.
- Contributing to raising the quality of marketing content produced by Frontier.
- Collaborating with other disciplines within the Creative Services team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- An eye for shot composition, lighting and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of in‑game capture tools.
- Experience with technical tools and processes.
- Creative, confident and proactive to help bring fresh ideas to our team.
- A creative and technical problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and the wider stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problems and solutions.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
- Experience building in‑game environments.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
- A keen interest in video games.
- Previous games industry experience.
Please note that we use a Windows based operating system. Training provided to the successful candidate if required. Please provide a showreel that demonstrates examples of your own editing and capture skills as part of your application.
