This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT’S THE ROLEWe’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development & Licensing Manager to drive Frontier’s strategic expansion into new areas of business. In this role, you’ll identify and develop revenue‑generating partnerships, securing licensing opportunities, and maximising the commercial potential of Frontier’s IP across global markets.
You’ll work closely with teams across Production, Commercial, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to source, evaluate, negotiate, and deliver commercial deals that enhance our portfolio and support Frontier’s long‑term growth.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING- Representing Frontier and our IP in the global games industry as a credible, forward‑thinking publishing partner. This includes attending key international conferences and industry events.
- Generating, negotiating, and managing new licensing opportunities across digital sales channels, transmedia, and physical product sectors to grow the reach and value of Frontier’s IP.
- Owning the end‑to‑end negotiation process for commercial agreements, collaborating closely with Legal and Finance throughout.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing strong, productive relationships within assigned accounts.
- Translating commercial objectives into actionable plans with clear, measurable targets.
- Building business cases, commercial forecasts, and financial models to support internal decision-making.
- Monitoring the performance of signed deals to ensure contractual obligations, timelines, and revenue targets are achieved.
- Managing relationships with on-boarded licensors and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Working alongside the Head of Commercial and the wider Commercial and Marketing teams to identify and deliver growth opportunities across our existing products and services.
- Strong numeracy and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and recommend informed actions.
- Demonstrable experience in the games industry in a Business Development or Licensing role, with a proven track record of generating revenue through IP licensing.
- Deep understanding of the games industry landscape, including key players, market trends, and best practices.
- Commercially driven mindset with an eye for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
