Renowned for its iconic creative management simulation games, Frontier captivates players worldwide with immersive and authentic game worlds. The modern studio is located in the vibrant technology hub of Cambridge (UK). This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT’S THE ROLEWe are looking for an experienced Creative Designer to join our Design Team on a 9 month fixed term contract. As part of the Creative Services team, you will help define the visual direction of multiple Frontier titles. You will create innovative, visually compelling work across touchpoints including game branding, social imagery, and marketing materials, collaborating closely with a highly creative, multidisciplinary team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING- Producing high quality, thoughtful creative that meets Frontier’s standards.
- Working across a range of projects, brand development, social content, event graphics, and digital campaign assets.
- Concepting and delivering strong visual identities across multiple platforms.
- Developing design solutions from brief to final delivery, adapting style to each project.
- Collaborating with Creative, Publishing and Development teams to produce effective online and offline assets.
- Preparing artwork to digital reprographic standards.
- Contributing ideas and supporting concept presentations.
- Helping scope, estimate and deliver complex project work.
- Providing constructive feedback on internal and external assets.
- Acting as brand guardian to maintain consistency and quality.
A strong portfolio showcasing brand development, digital design, typography and varied creative work is required. A passion for design and desire to elevate output is essential. A proactive, curious mindset with strong creative problem-solving skills is necessary. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) are required, along with an understanding of digital formats (display ads, HTML emails) and experience in web/digital design.
