Frontier Consulting are assisting a great SEN School in Cranleigh who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them. These positions are term time only, and full training and development opportunities are on offer as well as good benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning support
  • Provide one-to-one and small group assistance
  • Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and engagement
  • Assist with personal care where required
  • Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach
  • Confidence supporting students with additional needs and behaviours
  • Willingness to provide personal care support
  • Access to a car and a full driving licence due to the school's location
  • GCSEs in Maths
  • Availability for full-time work or a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Mandatory availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
