Frontier Consulting are assisting a national Children’s SEN school's financial health. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic educational environment while developing your expertise within a supportive team. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in financial management and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
- Prepare and review statutory accounts, including disclosures and supporting documentation
- Ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance across the group
- Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
- Manage Capex reporting and the Fixed Asset Register
- Support month-end close processes, including journals and head office reporting
- Assist with the annual budgeting process
- Contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g. ONS submissions)
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
