We are assisting a great SEN School in Cranleigh (Surrey) to recruit for experienced and new qualified Occupational Therapists. This is a great SEN School with many facilities and accommodation for students. You should be a car driver unless you live in Cranleigh, as the buses are not frequent in the region.
You will be joining our multidisciplinary therapy team with an emphasis on delivering therapy through groups and individual sessions. You will ideally be compassionate and patient with a strong interest in mental health and learning disabilities in children and young people. As well as delivering therapy, you will manage and prioritise some caseloads and enjoy building good working relationships with our students, their families and your colleagues. Your role will include some supervision and monitoring of programmes delivered by our Therapy Assistants. Our team do spend some time in the classrooms as part of our successful approach to delivering some therapy while working in tandem with our education team.
Salary
- The salary range for this role is based on 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. In practice, full time therapist hours are compressed into term time plus 5 in-service training days working each academic year (39 weeks).
- The salary is also dependent on whether you are newly qualified or an independent practitioner.
Hours
- Mon - Thursday: 3 days per week 08:15-17:00 + 1 day per week 08:15-19:30
- Friday: 08:15-16:00
- You will get all the school holidays off!
