We are looking for a Technical Lead to join the Frontier team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed. You are an experienced Lead developer bridging the gap between the development teams and other stakeholders, driving technical excellence while enabling seamless communication and execution in our software development projects. The Benefits Competitive salary Work from home anywhere within the UK 25 days holiday per calendar year with option to purchase 5 more days Dedicated Learning & Development team to support you and your career Employee Assistance Program providing 24 hours support & advice in areas such as health and wellbeing for yourself, your family & friends (up to 5 people in total) Increased Maternity, Paternity & Adoption leave benefits for eligible employees Life Assurance scheme and pension plan with employer contributions of up to 7% Cycle to Work Scheme, employee retail discount scheme and free eye test vouchers About You Comfortable with frontend and backend technologies along with their infrastructure developing and implementing ETL processes using Microsoft Azure Solid experience implementing solutions in the Azure Data ecosystem including Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Data Factory, Service Bus, and Logic Apps Experience with Informatica Customer 360 You have developed CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment Enjoy working hands-on in the code and are focused on delivery goals Enjoy collaborating with designers and product owners to innovate and devise great technical solutions to meet user needs Familiar with Scrum/Agile and experienced in delivering longer term goals in an incremental manner Experience in supporting members of the team and have a passion for bringing the best out of people You can help teams to focus on project goals to reach the best delivery outcome Your Role As a Technical Lead (Azure) your role will involve: Finding effective solutions to technical problems, overall application architecture design and driving the full-stack framework forwards Ensuring system components designed, developed, and optimised to agreed technical standards and best practices against complex requirements Owning and developing code quality measures and maintainability standards, and ensuring the implementation within the development teams Guiding and standardising the estimation process between development teams Leadingand participating in, design sessions and code / peer reviews Directing and performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure applications deliver agreed business outcomes and agreed technical and security standards Working with development teams to catalogue and reduce technical debt Building and maintaining a knowledge base of agreed design and development artefacts in Frontier KB systems Working with Architects and other Tech Leads to design scalable solutions and solve problems Implementing, measuring and maintaining coding standards for the team Mentoring, motivating , and coaching developers to improve their knowledge and output Working with the teams to evaluate and evolve the best technical setup to deliver agreed business outcomes in the context of the overall Frontier Architecture Roadmap Optimising our software delivery by defining and measuring KPIs to identify performance improvements About Us Frontier is a successful and growing business.
