Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a Team Leading capacity.
Duties will include:
- Leading a team to ensure that pensions projects (data prep, GMP etc) are delivered on time and in budget.
- Liaising with a range of stakeholders both internal and external, to ensure delivery of projects.
- Identifying areas for process improvement.
- Support your team and identify any areas for learning and development.
- Conduct regular reviews in order to manage team performance and any potential shortfalls.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth whilst ensuring team time is used wisely.
- Support Relationship Managers and GMP teams regarding project queries.
Applicants must possess pensions projects or GMP experience and ideally have managed/supervised a team in the past. Strong knowledge of 'defined benefit' is a must, and exposure to project work in a pensions environment is extremely desirable. The role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist who is looking for their next challenge.
