Due to recent and ongoing new business wins, my client, a leading UK Pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to look after a core portfolio of blue-chip pension schemes.
Duties will include:
- Acting as the main conduit between the client and the administration teams
- Ensuring an effective administration service is provided resulting in high client satisfaction scores
- Nurturing and developing long-term relationships with senior client figures and trustees
- Providing intuitive advice to clients to help them overcome pension related issues
- Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen client trust, engagement, and retention
- Managing cost control and supporting the financial reporting process
- Maintaining legislative knowledge and implementing scheme changes when required
- Attending new business tenders and presentations
- Handling senior service-level queries and escalated issues
Applicants must possess a proven background in pension administration along with a strong understanding of Defined Benefit arrangements. You will possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable in holding senior client meetings. Commercial acumen and leadership experience will be key, along with stakeholder management experience and the ability to identify areas of strength and weakness and address any shortcomings in service.
