The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception Manager to lead our front office team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless and welcoming guest journey, ensuring every arrival and departure reflects our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and inspire the reception team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalism
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes and handle VIP arrivals
- Resolve guest queries and complaints promptly and effectively
- Maintain strong communication with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments
- Monitor room availability, occupancy, and revenue opportunities
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of front office staff
About You
- Proven experience in a front office or reception management role within hospitality
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience with hotel management systems (PMS) preferred
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
