Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a part time Hotel Reception / Guest Service Assistant. The perfect candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, ideally having worked in a hotel, bar or restaurant.
Hours: 24 hours per week (mix of 8hr and 12hr shifts)
Shifts: 2 or 3 shifts per week (plus overtime opportunities)
Salary: £13.00 per hour

Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working across all departments of the hotel including reception, bar & kitchen.
- Checking guests in/out.
- Managing bills & payments.
- Helping guests & creating positive experiences.
- Prepare and serve food from a limited simple menu.
- Serving alcohol, soft drinks, hot drinks & snacks.
- Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely.
You will have 'Hamptonality', great energy and a can-do attitude. You are a great team player, and you love chatting with guests. You are a skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service. You are a clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!).
Useful Experience:
- Hotel reception or similar experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
