Trump Turnberry, Scotland is ready to receive applications from exceptional, talented individuals looking to join our legendary team. This is a hybrid role, involving duties of both Doorman and Porter. The position will be seasonal until the end of October 2023.

Position Scope:

  • You will be the first point of contact for our guests and responsible for providing a warm & friendly welcome.
  • You will assist guests with services including luggage assistance for arriving and departing guests, rooming guests on arrival, parking guest cars, driving resort vehicles, answering guest questions and resolving any guest problems in a friendly and obliging manner.
  • Take requests for Shuttles (transportation for guests within the resort) and action them.
  • Advise guests on the local area (tourism or business locations, sights or events).
  • Greet and welcome guests and direct them to Reception where you are to introduce the guest by name to the Receptionist.
  • Assist both arriving and departing guests with baggage handling.
  • Store guest baggage upon request and assist with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles.
  • Ensure the delivery of guests’ luggage/personal items to the appropriate rooms in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Valet Park guests' vehicles.

Candidate Specification:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment is desired.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Driving License is essential.
