Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a full time Guest Service Manager. We want a confident communicator who brings personality and shine to our team. The perfect candidate will have supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry, ideally having worked in a hotel, bar or restaurant.
Hours: 40 hours per week (working a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts)
Shifts: 4 or 5 shifts per week (including mornings, evenings and weekends)
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of Guest Service and Food & Beverage assistants.
- Working across all departments including reception, bar & kitchen.
- Helping guests & creating positive experiences.
- Manage hotel room inventory & checking guests in/out.
- Managing bills & payments.
- Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries.
- Running the bar.
- Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely.
You will have 'Hamptonality', great energy and a can-do attitude. You should be great at managing people, love chatting with guests, and be a skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service. A clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!) is essential.
Useful Experience:
- Supervisor or management experience in hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
