As Night Porter, you will be responsible for managing our Reception desk over the night time period, taking over from our Reception team and handing back over the following morning. You will be on hand for any guest liaison during the night and providing general hotel security. You may also be helping with room set up’s, assisting with luggage and serving drinks – all with a friendly and warm approach.

What you’ll need?

  • To have a genuine, warm professional manner;
  • Strong attention to detail and to be IT savvy, ensuring we ‘get it right first time’ whether that be someone’s room allocation, their bill or in just being intuitive enough to notice the details as small as what type of tea they like;
  • Good communication skills, and level of English – both written and spoken;
  • Self motivated and proactive in keeping busy during the night shift;
  • To be physically fit; and comfortable with lone working.

This Night Porter role is 40 hrs (typical hours - 10.30pm-7am) based upon 5/7 nights per week.
