1st Line Support Engineer needed. Are you a confident 1st Line Support Engineer with a passion for technology and great customer service? We’re recruiting for a friendly, well-established London-based MSP that supports a range of boutique hotels and commercial clients across Central London.Location: Covent Garden, London (office-based with regular site visits in Central London)

The Role

As the 1st Line Support Engineer, you’ll be providing on-site and remote support to clients – mainly boutique hotels – helping resolve IT issues and carrying out regular maintenance tasks. You'll get to know each client well, typically visiting them weekly. There’s no suit required, just smart-casual attire.

When not on site, you'll be based in the Covent Garden office, working alongside a supportive team on the Help Desk. As you gain experience, you’ll be given the opportunity to progress into a 2nd line role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line IT support to clients on-site and remotely

  • Carry out BAU and project-based support tasks

  • Escalate more complex issues when needed, while maintaining ownership of the ticket

  • Build strong working relationships with end-users

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role

  • Confident with Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, and common applications

  • Clear, friendly communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn

  • Professional, reliable, and presentable for client-facing visits

Nice to Have:

  • Some exposure to 2nd line support duties
