The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

We are recruiting a Front of House Manager to oversee reception services across six prestigious private medical practices in the City of London. Managing a team of approximately ten Receptionists, you will ensure that patients and visitors receive a consistently warm, professional and discreet service across every location. This is a hands-on management role requiring regular travel between the six practices, supporting the reception teams and maintaining excellent standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day front of house operation across six private medical practices
  • Leading, supporting and motivating a team of approximately ten Receptionists
  • Ensuring consistently high standards of patient and visitor service across all locations
  • Creating rotas and arranging cover for holidays, sickness and unexpected absences
  • Regularly visiting each practice to support teams and monitor service standards
  • Conducting one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and team briefings
  • Recruiting, onboarding and training new reception team members when required
  • Handling patient concerns and resolving sensitive issues calmly and professionally
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times
  • Working closely with Practice Managers, medical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Reviewing reception procedures and introducing improvements where appropriate
  • Monitoring presentation standards across reception areas and waiting rooms
  • Ensuring reception teams follow relevant policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Producing regular updates and reports for senior management
  • Supporting reception desks directly during particularly busy periods or staff shortages

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience managing a front of house, reception or guest services team
  • Experience overseeing teams across multiple locations would be highly beneficial
  • A background within 5* hospitality, or private healthcare, medical practices, luxury hospitality or another high-service environment
  • Confident managing rotas, absence cover, performance and team development
  • Calm and dependable when dealing with competing priorities
  • Willingness to travel regularly between six City of London locations
