An experienced Facilities Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day estates and building services operations of a busy, public-facing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for facilities management, building services, contractor management, compliance and operational service delivery.
You will manage a total in-house team of 13 including:
- Facilities Assistant
- Technical Support team
- Maintenance team
- Front of House team
- Outsourced Catering contract
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee building services and estates operations
- Manage hard services and soft services contractors
- Lead maintenance operations including reactive maintenance and PPM programmes
- Ensure full health & safety and statutory compliance
- Manage contractors, suppliers, SLAs and KPIs
- Oversee M&E services, building infrastructure and facilities systems
- Support project works, service improvements and operational initiatives
- Maintain high levels of customer service in a busy operational environment
- Lead and motivate teams, driving accountability and service standards
The role requires a strong people manager who can lead from the front, hold teams accountable and maintain high operational standards. Core hours are typically 9–5 with some flexibility, with occasional out-of-hours oversight where required.
