Fromefield Manor School are recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled handyperson with a keen interest in maintenance, DIY and facilities upkeep. In this role, you’ll be responsible for addressing day-to-day reactive maintenance issues across the school site and grounds, helping to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for our students and staff. You’ll also raise jobs, arrange maintenance of equipment and vehicles, liaise with contractors on and off-site and respond to ad-hoc requests from management as needed. The role includes both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the school:

Fromefield Manor School is a new SEN school (opened September 2024) located in central Frome, Somerset and is a special school for up to 30 pupils, aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism with associated complex needs. With a total communication approach and bespoke timetables we are able to ensure our students receive the care, attention, time and dedication to enable them to access education and reach their individual goals and aspirations.

Due to expansion, Fromefield Manor are looking for versatile and energetic new team members.
