We have an exciting opportunity for aLesson Supervisor to join our cover team. Lesson Supervisors play animportant role in supporting teaching staff and provide class supervision whena teacher is absent. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who isconsidering teaching as a future career as you will gain valuable in-classexperience. Alternatively, this role is also highly suited to someone who iskeen to support young people in their learning to achieve their full potential.The successful candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team of highly motivatedteachers and support staff as well as becoming an integral part of our schoolcommunity. Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:15am –3:15pm and Thursdays 8am – 3:15pm.
The successful candidate will have:
- excellentcommunication skills with a positive can-do attitude
- ability to workeffectively with young people and as part of a team
- ability toencourage students to learn
- computer literate
- ability to usetheir own initiative, with good planning and organising skills
- confidence and agood sense of humour
- candidates willneed to have 5+ GCSE A-C or equivalent (Inc. English and Maths) and/orexperience in a similar field.
