An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Design Technology Technician to join our DT Department, delivering outstanding technical support to the team and enhancing teaching and learning throughout the Design Technology curriculum. The perfect candidate will assist both teachers and students during practical activities, manage inventory, coordinate equipment maintenance, and handle various administrative duties related to the department.
The successful candidate will:
- assist teachers and students during lessons and practical tasks
- support in extra-curricular activities
- maintain stock and arrange maintenance of equipment and general administrative tasks relevant to the department
- ideally, you will have a DT background, but this is not essential
- have strong practical skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to cope with competing demands
