Kendal Calling is one of the UK’s most beloved music festivals, set in the stunning Lake District. With a passionate, close team and a loyal audience, we deliver unforgettable experiences year after year.
We’re now looking for a skilled and creative Marketing Manager to take the reins of our marketing campaigns and help shape the future of the Kendal Calling brand.
The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic, proactive Marketing Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of all marketing campaigns for Kendal Calling. This is a key role that will shape our audience growth, sales strategy and overall brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and manage marketing campaigns from concept through to post-campaign analysis
- Work closely with press and digital agencies to deliver impactful campaigns
- Monitor ticket sales and audience feedback to refine strategy
- Manage and report on the marketing budget
- Collaborate with the festival management team to evolve and strengthen the Kendal Calling brand
- Brief and manage designers and creative contractors
- Ensure all festival marketing channels (online and offline) are on-brand and up to date
- Develop and deliver engaging digital content to support campaigns
- Work with internal departments and external stakeholders to drive audience development
- Create high-profile marketing promotions with sponsors and partners
- Carry out other relevant duties in line with the role
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and social media management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere or CapCut
- Demonstrates strong initiative and self-direction
- Solid understanding of the UK festival market
- Previous work in live events or festivals
