Stores are large, high turnover environments with considerable challenges around health and safety and compliance, requiring Store Managers comfortable controlling a business to manage, lead and motivate a team of junior managers and their subordinates.
The Candidate will need a depth of retail Store or Assistant Store Management experience gained within a retail business. Experience can be from Department or Chain Stores, or the high street or out of town, or management experience from other service-led retail businesses where commerciality and customer service are key. A rounded management style, ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, and adeptness at spotting commercial opportunity and reacting to the needs of customers are crucial.
