Overview of role
The Fundraising Officer is responsible for planning, organising and delivering fundraising initiatives to support the ongoing development and activities of Frodsham Junior Football Club. This is a volunteer hybrid role based in Helsby, with opportunities to work from home part of the time. The Fundraising Officer will work closely with the Club Treasurer, Committee members, volunteers and external partners to increase income opportunities and support the long‑term sustainability of the Club.
Key areas of responsibility
- Fundraising Initiatives: responsible for planning, organising and implementing fundraising campaigns and events to support Club activities and development projects
- Grant Applications: Lead the preparation and submission of funding proposals and external grant applications in line with Club objectives
- Partnership Development: build and maintain relationships with potential donors, sponsors, charities and community partners to maximise fundraising opportunities
- Event Coordination: organise and support fundraising events including competitions, fun days, raffles, auctions and community engagement activities
- Compliance & Administration: maintain accurate fundraising records and donor databases while ensuring all activity complies with relevant fundraising guidance and regulations
- Volunteer Coordination: work with and coordinate the wider volunteer workforce to support fundraising events and activities across the Club
