We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of Fire and Security system installations and upgrades. This role involves overseeing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and full compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects in the fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, and life safety systems sectors.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Fire and Security projects (design, installation, commissioning, handover).
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to define project scope and deliverables.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with British Standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS EN 50131), health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular project reports and client updates.
- Manage procurement and logistics of project materials and equipment.
- Attend site meetings, surveys, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure accurate project documentation and certification.
Prince2, PMP, or similar project management certification is required. Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD) or project management tools is preferred. Proven experience (3+ years) in project management or similar roles in the fire and security, or related technical sector is essential.
