Contract Type: Full-time

Department: Your Tasks

  • Operate as a member of the whole team in the Barony Production Department helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency.
  • Contribute an acceptable level of housekeeping in the department and to maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace, machinery and site.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Production Department within the relevant grade.
  • Complete shift reports as required and carry out appropriate shift handovers including any specific production relevant information.
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents, accidents, hazards and near misses are duly reported.
  • Ensure all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety manual are followed and that safety equipment and PPE is in good order and used at all times.
  • Liaise with the Shift Supervisor as to the condition of the Mechanical/Electrical equipment and regarding production issues.
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
  • Attend any further training as required.

Our Requirements

  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • ForkLift Truck Licence.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
