Overview
The Intravenous and Vascular Access Services (IVAS) team are looking to recruit an experienced Health Care Assistant. We are looking for a compassionate, caring healthcare worker who strives to deliver high quality care to patients. The IVAS Vascular Access Healthcare Assistant supports the inpatient vascular access service by providing ultrasound guided cannulation, venepuncture and midline insertion to patients who have difficult IV access.
This post is for the Wexham Park Hospital Site.
Responsibilities
Main duties of the job
- Ultrasound guided venepuncture, cannulation and midline insertion.
- Vascular Access Device surveillance
- Managing excel databases
- Supporting with stock management
- Supporting the Vascular Access CNS team in delivering patient care
- Working with EPIC
