Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive and hardworking Estates Maintenance Assistant to support the smooth operation of our hospital facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Main duties of the job
What You’ll Do
️ Carry out semi-skilled maintenance tasks across hospital sites
️ Conduct plant room checks and monitor essential systems
️ Assist technicians and engineers with maintenance and repair work
️ Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
What We’re Looking For
Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or building services)
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
️ Drainage Services & Maintenance Checks – Maintain all drainage systems and carry out planned maintenance tasks
️ Semi-Skilled Maintenance – Assist with general upkeep and minor repairs
️ Support Technicians – Work alongside skilled professionals to complete essential maintenance tasks
️ Shift Work & Flexibility – Participate in a rotating shift system, including late shifts & weekends
️ Workplace Housekeeping – Ensure cleanliness and organization in workshops, stores, and working areas
️ Job Docket Completion – Accurately record and complete maintenance jobs in a timely manner
️ Team Support & KPIs – Help meet team targets, including the number of jobs completed per day
️ Health & Safety Commitment – Promote and maintain safe working practices for yourself and others
️ Customer Care & Trust Values – Provide excellent service and uphold the trust’s values in every aspect of your work
