What you will be doing
- You will be the driving force behind our nocturnal logistics, supervising a dedicated team to manage everything from intake to dispatch while maintaining a safety-first culture.
- Your goal is to ensure 100% load accuracy and system integrity before the sun comes up.
Safety & Team Leadership: Champion a "zero-harm" environment, managing staff attendance, conducting return-to-work interviews, and coaching your team to hit high performance standards.
Operational Control: Oversee the picking and dispatch schedules, ensuring all stock follows FIFO principles and that trailer turnarounds are handled with precision.
Inventory & Systems: Maintain real-time SAP accuracy, liaising with Production and Planning to resolve discrepancies and manage stock age or quality risks.
Compliance: Own the documentation process for audits and traceability, ensuring every pallet and paper trail meets our rigorous food safety standards.
What you will bring
- We are looking for a decisive leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands the critical importance of temperature-controlled logistics.
- Experience: You possess a proven track record in warehouse or transport supervision, ideally within a high-pressure manufacturing or FMCG environment where timing is everything.
- Hard Skills: You are highly proficient in SAP or similar WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office; holding a valid forklift license (counterbalance or reach) is a significant advantage.
