What you will be doing
- Join our busy technical department to take ownership of managing our site QAs, ensuring compliance with site policies, procedures and customer standards across a dynamic site environment.
- Lead, schedule and mentor the QA team while supervising daily technical activities, factory schedules and sampling programmes.
- Monitor, analyse and trend compliance KPIs, environmental swabbing and test results to proactively manage non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Maintain site adherence to BRCGS, HACCP, customer codes of practice and food safety legislation through regular process audits, risk assessments and validation tasks.
- Assist in preparing for and executing internal, third-party, customer and regulatory audits, with the capability to manage visits independently.
- Foster a strong food safety culture across the business through regular interviews, quarterly meetings and collaborative coaching with production teams.

- Excellent communication skills, effective leadership and mentoring capabilities, alongside the flexibility to multitask and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Hard Skills:
- Food Hygiene certification, strong knowledge of HACCP, food legislation, basic food microbiology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for KPI trending and report writing.
