Lead a dedicated evening team to ensure our high-value products move seamlessly from our site to our customers’ tables.

What you will be doing

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the team to complete all daily outloads and unloads according to schedule, while delegating responsibilities and attending key production meetings.
  • Inventory & Quality Control: Manage correct stock rotation for customer orders, carry out racking inspections, and oversee all CCPs and quality verification checks within your area.
  • System & Data Management: Ensure accurate input for SAP, PDB, and Esmiley systems, while maintaining flawless paperwork for customer communications and legal requirements.
  • Safety & Efficiency: Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety and hygiene procedures while continually identifying ways to improve team yields and operational efficiency.

What you will bring

  • We are looking for a responsible leader who thrives under pressure and takes pride in the accuracy of their work. You should be a trustworthy communicator who can motivate a team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a factory or production environment is essential, along with experience leading or supporting a team. Experience in warehousing, logistics, forklift operation, or shunting would be beneficial, but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right person.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep things running smoothly under pressure. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and processes.
  • Hard Skills: Good English and numeracy skills (Level 2 or above), along with an understanding of food safety, HACCP, and continuous improvement practices. Experience with systems such as SAP or PDB would be an advantage.
