It is a trusted specialist supplier of a rapidly expanding range of services and related support, and as such has become a key partner to the UK military. It is a long-established and highly regarded company, enjoying notable success for its latest offerings in a dynamic market.
The business has ambitious plans for the development and introduction of a wide and diverse portfolio of AI-enabled and technologically sophisticated services that deliver battlespace advantage for the armed forces of the UK and its NATO allies. Thanks to its current rate of organic growth and with a recent and significant injection of investment, the company now needs to recruit an experienced director-level project management professional to join the management team and provide hands-on leadership and direction to the £multi-million contracts already secured, and those already in the increasingly strong pipeline for this highly successful and very profitable business as it expands at home and internationally.

Candidate
- project / programme management qualification
- ideally a degree in a STEM subject
- senior project leadership role in defence technology / engineering
- experienced in managing service provision to MoD
- enforced formal project disciplines, systems and structure
- sets and maintains standards, holds others to account
- excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- determined, energetic and collaborative
- highly numerate with commercial instincts
- first-class planning and organisational skills, and close attention to detail
- team player, with coaching ethos
- able to work on-site, remotely, or internationally, as required
- unimpeachable integrity
- willing to undergo and confident of obtaining UK security clearance
