Frieze are hiring a Digital Content Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating content on frieze.com. Content formats include videos and articles for Editorial, Fairs, and Frieze’s Galleries. You will manage the publication of content in a timely manner in line with publishing and fair deadlines. You will report to the Senior Audience Editor, as part of Frieze’s Audiences Team, working closely with colleagues in Ad Sales, Branded Content, Studios, PR, Marketing and Digital.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Content Coordination
- Devise the yearly publishing schedule – Create the annual plan for all digital commissions based on the Editor-in-Chief’s content strategy.
- Ensure smooth execution of the master content calendar – Work across departments to execute the content calendar efficiently and on time.
- Coordinate weekly Digital Strategy Meetings – Outline content being released for the week and scrape the previous week’s performance data for Marketing, Branded Content and Editorial pages and articles, confirming decision making for homepage and cross departmental content messaging
- Coordinate new and existing web projects – Manage ongoing and new digital initiatives, such as translated Korean articles, interactive maps and the Gift Guide.
- Liaise with Marketing and Design teams for digital enhancements – Coordinate with Marketing and Design teams for website strategy, visual assets and digital refinements.
- Calendars/ Schedules – Ensure key digital moments such as homepage takeovers are included in central workspace
- Maintaining and updating digital publishing schedule
Writing Style
- Ensure content matches Frieze’s Tone of Voice and Style guidelines.
- Proofing text where required.
- Reviewing and coordinating article headline copy, section headings.
CMS Tasks
- Coordinate and review all digital content – Inputting and reviewing digital content (Editorial, Branded Content, Studios), ensuring timely posting and SEO compliance, creating tags
- Lead on image selection and optimisation – Select compelling and consistent visuals forfrieze.com.
- Edit Web HED/DEKs – Editing article headlines to be engaging, legible SEO-optimised and compliant with house style.
- Manage overall appearance offrieze.com – Maintain the look and functionality of the Homepage, landing pages and overall UX on the website (regular Q/A and Q/C testing)
- Translations – Coordinate with translators ensuring pages are created, checking links, and updating headings, tags in CMS
- Act as primary liaison with the Digital Team – Work with the Digital team to ensure the website’s front and back-end support content production needs and suggest improvements.
- Creating homepage takeovers for fairs and new magazine issues, presenting these to directors and editors.
Operations
- Liasing with the Digital Team for improvements toFrieze.com/ Frieze App – Collating fixes for website and app.
- Execute the master content calendar – Ensure that the master content calendar runs smoothly across all web properties.
- Creating an upload schedule, coordinating proofing and publishing of content by agreed deadlines for Frieze Week and Frieze Masters magazines.
- Working with all departments, manage the digital presence of Fairs and Editorial onfrieze.com, including imagery, user flow and content organisation.
Data Reporting & Analysis
- Report Analytics data – Use GA4, Search Console and Powerbi to share performance insights in weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (including tickets raised separately from departments).
- Presenting Reports – Summarizing insights presenting these to senior stakeholders
- Implement data strategies – Collaborate with Fair, Marketing, Audiences, Editorial and Content teams and use qualitative insights to assist the company’s goals.
- Competitor Analysis – Review and feedback on competitors – highlighting new features, digital trends and activity

Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Confident and clear presenter
- Project Management experience and skills is desirable
- Demonstrable experience within User Experience Design
- Must have an understanding of SEO principles
- Impeccable proofreading and written skills
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable using technical tools and systems
- Must be proactive and flexible
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Working Conditions:
- Working hours: 9am-6pm
- Please note this is a 1 Year Fixed-term Contract.
- Weekend work likely required around the week of the fairs.
