What we ask:

  • At least 3‑5 years recent Retail sales experience, preferably in dairy and in PL
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in (International) Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong understanding of private label dynamics and retail buying processes
  • Excellent social, negotiation, communication and influencing skills
  • Proactive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Result‑oriented and data driven mentality

Vacancy description:

  • Act as the primary commercial lead for assigned UK retail customers
  • Build strategic, tactical, and operational customer relationships centred on joint goals (e.g., category growth, sustainability)
  • Translate the PL strategy into 3‑year customer plans
  • Manage all private label tenders, pricing, profitability and product development, drive competitive PL propositions for the UK market
  • Lead creation of Joint Business Plans
  • Build annual operational plans including sales, volume, margin, and market share targets
  • Execute annual Sales Activation Plans
  • Own the customer P&L and deliver financial KPIs
  • Review sales, profitability, market share and adjust plans
  • Provide accurate forecasting
  • Oversee execution from concept to launch
  • Collaborate effectively with Finance, Supply Chain, Strategic Pricing, Category Marketing, and peers across OpCos
  • Build network within FrieslandCampina operations, mainly based in the Netherlands
