Part Time 16 hours per week (Tuesday Friday 7am - 11am). Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, supporting older people for over 120 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for those in financial difficulty.
The Lawn is a beautiful Georgian period home in the rural village of Holybourne, Hampshire. The building has been sympathetically modernised to meet the needs of all our residents, and we have a dedicated, well-trained and compassionate team of staff that care for our residents.
As our Hospitality Assistant, you will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our residents by delivering a positive and professional dining experience. Your duties will include:
- Washing up
- Collecting trays
- Cleaning the pantry
- Providing residents with hot drinks
- Supporting the kitchen
Self-motivated and resilient, a team player who is willing to go the extra mile, you will take pride in your work ensuring residents are at the heart of our service. Experience in catering would be beneficial but by no means essential. No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the training you will need to excel in this role!
