  • Act as a responsive and professional first point of contact for supporter enquiries
  • Deliver end-to-end support for individual fundraisers, including onboarding, providing materials, social media promotion, and ongoing engagement
  • Ensure timely and personalised acknowledgement of fundraising efforts to support retention
  • Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns and appeals including the charity’s milestone 30th anniversary year in 2027

Event coordination

Play a hands-on role in the charity’s events and campaigns throughout the year. You’ll take ownership of selected events and support wider programme delivery too:

  • Take lead responsibility for end-to-end delivery of the charity’s challenge events including Kiltwalk, Beast Race, Edinburgh Marathon Festival, Ride the North and an annual Skydive. Manage recruitment and sign-ups, fundraising support and on-the-day operations.
  • Support delivery of key events, including Brave and Courage on the Catwalk (P&J Live), Golf Event (Peterculter Golf Club and The Chester Hotel), Breakfast of Champions, our festive campaign, and our 30th anniversary programme
  • Provide on-the-day support for events, including occasional evening and weekend work
  • Support post-event follow-up, including income reconciliation and supporter stewardship

Data, administration and finance

Data is central to this role, and accuracy is critical. You will:

  • Maintain and update the CRM system as it pertains to your stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, consistency and GDPR compliance
  • Carry out data entry, cleansing and reporting to support fundraising performance and insight
