We are recruiting fixed-term Conference & Hospitality Assistants, to be part of our established team to work in the evenings and some weekends. Full training given.

Salary: £16.70 per hour

Contract: Part time, fixed-term

Hours: 8 hours per week

Location: Friends House, London NW1 2BJ.

What You’ll Do

  • Setting up and organising event rooms & AV equipment
  • Preparing, serving, and clearing refreshments
  • Welcoming and supporting guests
  • Keeping rooms spotless and guest‑ready
  • Delivering outstanding customer service with a smile

Who We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn — hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, ability to carry out light lifting and carrying duties, must be reliable and punctual.
  • You’ll need to be flexible to work in the evenings, and some weekend shifts (rotas provided in advance).

Guaranteed 8 hours per week minimum, worked during evenings and weekends. Lots of additional hours available. Fixed term contracts starting on 2 March, ending on 28 June. Longer fixed term contracts also available.
