Bookkeeper (Part-Time) We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our small, friendly team.
We've been trading successfully for 19 years and have continued to grow steadily.
As our client base expands, we're looking for an extra pair of hands to help support our increasing workload.
About the Role You'll be responsible for providing bookkeeping services to a variety of clients, including:
- Entering sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing journals
- Payroll and CIS processing You'll also be liaising directly with clients, so good communication skills and a professional, friendly approach are essential.
- Skills & Experience Ideally, you'll have experience using some or all of the following:
- Sage
- Sage Cloud
- Quick Books
- Xero
- VT Cash Book
- Free Agent
* Microsoft Office You should also have
- Excellent attention to detail
- A good understanding of VAT
- Good knowledge of payroll and CIS
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively Hours
- 20–30 hours per week
- Spread over 3–5 days, with flexibility on both days and working hours
- There is potential for additional hours as the business continues to grow Location This is an office-based position in the centre of Oakley Village, Basingstoke, Hampshire.
We're a small, friendly, down-to-earth team that enjoys working together.
One final requirement—you'll need to be comfortable around dogs, as there's usually a friendly office dog keeping us company.
