Two motivated Chief Engineers are sought for an exciting and innovative new build sailing yacht which will launch late 2025. This is a unique build in that there will be no diesel engine on board and the yacht will be powered by batteries and solar. The positions will be 10:10 rotational. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving project that will push the boundaries of yacht design.
- Y1 or Y2 MCA Chief Engineer certificate is preferable but not necessary.
- Proven experience with the management and maintenance of 700V DC electrical generation and regeneration, safety and compliance protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the systems.
- Experience with fully electric propulsion systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of IT control systems is essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
- Team player ethos essential to success.
- Calm under pressure.
- Sailing background is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is a must.
Yachts program:
