About the Role
We’re recruiting Logistics Operatives to support a world‑renowned automotive manufacturer in Woking.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to support the production of high‑performance sports cars.
This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisation and a commitment to maintaining world‑class stock accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety compliance and incident reporting
- Safe loading/unloading of trailers using MHE
- Accurate receipt, inspection and documentation of incoming goods
- Use of handheld scanners and SAP for real‑time inventory transactions
- Stock put‑away, consolidation and careful handling of parts
- Picking and supplying parts to production lines aligned to KPIs
- Maintaining logistics records and documentation
- Upholding 5S standards and “clean as you go” practices
- Conducting cycle counts, stock takes and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ensuring efficient stock management and proactive monitoring
- Liaising with Production, Quality and Stores
- Managing traceability of parts, including RTV items
- Responding quickly to lineside shortages and operational queries
- Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of inventory and logistics processes
- Experience in fast‑paced manufacturing; automotive preferred
- Skilled in MRP, warehouse systems and SAP
- Certified and experienced in operating MHE
- Confident conducting cycle counts and resolving stock discrepancies
- Able to meet KPIs and support continuous improvement
