Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer to join a well-established heavy engineering business in the Wigan area. This role will involve working on large-scale fabricated components and structures, ensuring high-quality coating application in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and spray industrial components using wet and airless spraying techniques
- Apply coatings including single and two-pack epoxy, polyurethane, primers, and base coats
- Carry out masking and surface preparation to a high standard
- Work within a blast room and industrial environment
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Paint Sprayer within heavy engineering or manufacturing
- Experience working on large structures, tankers, or similar components
- Strong knowledge of industrial coatings and application processes
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and specifications
- Experience using wet spray and airless spraying equipment
- Background in structural steel, heavy engineering industry or similar
