About the Role
We are looking for a HR Consultant to join an established and value add boutique HR service line, delivering outsourced HR support and trusted advice to a varied portfolio of clients. This isn’t a traditional internal HR position. In this client-facing role, you will influence and shape people strategies across multiple organisations while managing a broad mix of employee relations matters. The work is fast-paced, varied, and rewarding where no two days are the same.
Reporting to the MD, you will be part of a small but effective team where you will:
- Take ownership of client queries from start to finish, building strong and trusted relationships
- Provide expert advice across a full range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, and more
- Support the development and updating of HR policies, procedures and documentation
- Advise across the full employee lifecycle for multiple client organisations
- Assist with HR audits and the day-to-day management of client relationships
- Organise client meetings and HR-related events
- Maintain strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Contribute to networking and business development activity, including preparing pricing structures and client proposals
About You
Whether you have HR Consultancy expertise or have worked in HR internally we are looking for someone who can offer:
- Enjoyment of autonomy, variety and the chance to make a meaningful impact
- A genuine desire to grow your career within a developing and ambitious HR consultancy environment
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience (desirable not essential)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required
If you are an ambitious HR professional ready for a new challenge and excited by the opportunity to influence people practices across multiple organisations, then don’t hesitate to get in touch today.
